Rodney Ramagalela and his family wish to thank South Africans and the football fraternity for their overwhelming support in their time of need.
The Ramagalelas are still coming to terms with the painful loss after their family home burnt to ashes in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Mamvuka village in Limpopo’s Vhembe district, in a suspected arson attack. The striker shared the home with his blind father Frans and four siblings. Thankfully no one was home at the time of the fire.
Currently the family is waiting for a preliminary report from the South African Police Services (SAPS) on what exactly caused the fire. The family has full confidence in law enforcement authorities to bring those involved in the heartless attack to book.
As the family’s sole breadwinner Ramagalela is appealing to South Africans to lend a helping hand as he attempts to rebuild the family home. The family has lost everything in the fire and will need all the support they can get.
Ramagalela is currently in rehabilitation for an injury he picked up earlier in the season after joining Chippa United. The family has opened a bank account where donations can be made. Those who wish to offer other forms of pledges are encouraged to do so.
Donations can be made into the following bank account.
