AmaZulu FC launch, sponsors, and new Players unveiled

Robert Marawa, moderator on the day began the ceremony with AmaZulu unique chants. The AmaZulu FC launch featured success stories of the club’s 2020/21 season with players awards, additional partners in a form of sponsors, club app. And an unveiling of players.

President Zungu:

Club president Sandile Zungu laid down club vision for the upcoming season. He further congratulated Veli Mothwa and Siyethemba Sithebe for their great exploits in the COSAFA cup with Bafana Bafana. Bafana won COSAFA cup without conceding a single goal. A tournament record.

New Jersey: imbatha

Imbatha is worn by Zulu men. The jersey pays tribute to the late Zulu Nation king, Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu. The bottle green color of the old returned again with a hope that the current crop of players will repeat the 1972 league triumph or the 1992 Coca-Cola cup success.

New players:

Keegan Buchanan, Mxolisi Kunene, Tercious Malepe, Philani Zulu, Matarr Cesaay (Gambia), Tshepang Moremi (MDC), Lindani Shange (MDC).

Moremi had a season-long-loan at relegated side in the Glad Africa Championship, Bizana Pondo Chiefs.

Manzini Zungu:

Club director, Manzini Zungu, closed the event by first encouraging Robert Marawa with a statement saying, the Zungus are ready to support his own content should he desire to be independent.

The entire event was ended with a CSI project on Saturday, 07 August 2021, at Umlazi, KwaMashu and Melmoth. The club handed food parcel a to a community which was affected by recent riots.
